You might ask…who is the MT behind White Lily? Well, I have been working out of my home as a medical transcriptionist since April 2007 and love it, but before MT work I was a veterinary assistant for a little over 10 years working in wellness-type clinics and also in an animal emergency hospital.  I have a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Purdue University (Go Boilers!!) and my medical transcriptionist certificate from Career Step.  My animal science background really did lay the foundation for my MT career.  I was introduced to basic anatomy, medical terminology, and even drug names.  You wouldn’t believe how much we have in common with our furry 4-legged friends.

When I do get a little free time, I enjoy reading, beading, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with my family, which consists of my wonderful husband, our beautiful baby girl, and our two 4-legged kids, Neika and Zoey.
